Over the past couple of days, we've given two more people commit
access to the magic-removal branch: Russell Keith-Magee and Joseph
Kocherhans. I want to take this opportunity to spell out what's
happening, in the name of healthy communication and because it's
important that we don't step on each other's toes in the code changes
we're making.

* Robert Wittams is refactoring manipulators (and then, probably, the
new lookup API).

* Jacob is working on the way "edit inline" works in the admin.

* Joseph is moving "auth" and "core" into standalone apps.

* Russell is pitching in various fixes and improvements.

* I'm working on various fixes and improvements.

I've written a "Committing code" section in the docs here. These are
important guidelines to follow.

http://www.djangoproject.com/documentation/contributing/#committing-code

Of course, any medium-to-large change needs to be discussed here on
django-developers before it's committed.
