Howdy --

A quick reminder: PyCon 2006 is coming up, and early-bird registration ($65 discount) is open until Jan 15th. There's a good bit of Django stuff planned, so if you can make it you should register! Here's what we've got going on:

* Both Adrian and I will be giving a talk. Mine will be a hands-on tutorial (see http://wiki.python.org/moin/PyCon2006/Talks#63); Adrian's will be a a higher-level overview of how cool Django is (http://wiki.python.org/moin/PyCon2006/Talks#50).

* I'll be there for the four days following the 'con (2/27 - 3/2) to coach sprints. There will be an introductory session on Sunday (2/26) at around 3:30 where we'll all get to know each other and plan out the goals for the four following days, then we'll get some cool shit done. I'm pretty sure Adrian will be there for at least some of that time; I think Simon's around as well. It should be really fun.

More details on the sprint is at http://wiki.python.org/moin/ PyCon2006/Sprints/DjangoSprint -- add your name if you (think) you'll make it.

* We'll be giving out some cool Django schwag :)

* Adrian will give free lessons in Ukranian to any interested parties.

OK, maybe not that last one.

I hope to see lots of Djangonauts there,

Jacob
