Good questions, Nathan. I'm not aware of an answer to the first, but it would be great for someone to research and publish it. As for the second, I'm not aware of a variable, but I suspect it can be gotten from the Admin API. I'm not in a position to try to get that right now, but let's see if someone may check it out and report back.
