Hi,
let me state that I hate the standard sendmail...its conf file is a madness...I
strongly prefer postfix...
In any case, I have no choice if I want to configure fault management, but rely
on sendmail configuration (becase there is no setting to use just an smtp
server, and this is a missing feature, to me...).
One of the machines I have here doesn't want to send mails as expected.
By running "sendmail [email protected]", I find this in my syslog:
May  3 11:09:11 xstreamdev sendmail[28535]: [ID 801593 mail.info]
u4399A4a028535: [email protected], ctladdr=sonicle (501/501),
delay=00:00:01, xdelay=00:00:01, mailer=relay, pri=30114, relay=[127.0.0.1]
[127.0.0.1], dsn=2.0.0, stat=Sent (u4399A0r028536 Message accepted for delivery)
Then, nothing. The mail is nowhere, not received by anyone, not in the queue,
nothing.
What's wrong? Where can I look at?
Gabriele
