I have a pdf document with a lot of input data required. The data resides in
a database. What I would like to do is have a writer document that has the
pdf form and then place the database fields I want in the proper locations
on the new document. In effect I want to place a database field on top of an
image.

Ideally, the document would be a background image and then simply place the
database field in the proper place over the image. When I print the
document - the database field data would overprint the document image where
I want it.

I can put the pdf image in a document... that seems to work great. When I
try to move a database field on top of the image, writer won't let me place
it on top of the image.

Is there a way to put a database field on top of an image?
