Hello everybody,
it is probably time to make you all aware of the existence of
https://nextcommunity.net/forums/ and the heightened attention and
appreciation of its members towards the GNUstep project.
This forum has been founded last year and aims at not only preserving
and deepening the historical relevance of NeXTstep and OPENSTEP, but
also to extend the retro perspective into the promising future provided
by the GNUstep project and its numerous related spinoffs.
Many of the members of this forum used to formerly be active at the well
known https://www.nextcomputers.org/forums/ site but decided to gather
as a more openminded community that doesn't artificially limit itself to
the vintage/retro past like the founders of nextcomputers.org appear to
increasingly adhere to.
The main discussion thread of the Previous NeXT emulator moved from
nextcomputers.org to
https://nextcommunity.net/forums/index.php?topic=11.0 and also the
wmlive project has somewhat found a home at
https://nextcommunity.net/forums/index.php?topic=9.0 in this forum.
One of the threads highlighting the importance of how the GNUstep
project is perceived is
https://nextcommunity.net/forums/index.php?topic=83.0 where forum member
Rhetorica took great care to provide a summary of the last three GNUstep
meeting videos.
I'd like to invite interested people to join
https://nextcommunity.net/forums/ and possibly use it to widen the
mindshare regarding anything related to GNUstep and maybe also find
possible new contributors.
Best regards,
Paul Seelig
