Hi everyone,

I was at FOSDEM 2025 in the Swift developers Room and listened there to the
following Talk:

https://fosdem.org/2025/schedule/event/fosdem-2025-4562-building-truly-native-cross-platform-desktop-apps-with-a-focus-on-gnome-/

https://video.fosdem.org/2025/k4401/fosdem-2025-4562-building-truly-native-cross-platform-desktop-apps-with-a-focus-on-gnome-.mp4

The project is called „Aparoksha“ and provides this website:
https://aparoksha.dev/

In short, it is a SwiftUI like wrapper for several native GUI-Backends (at the
moment those are native SwiftUI or AppKit, GNOME and WinUI), and I asked him
after the talk if he considered GNUstep. His reaction was:

„GNU - What?“

He had never heard of GNUstep.

So GNUsteppers, what do you think? Should we reach out to those guys for a
cooperation? I think GNUstep would be such a more logical choice for them than
GNOME …

Kind regards,

        Lars
