Dear friends,
I have tried to run directFB examples on a Linux debian 3.2.51 #1 SMP i686
GNU/Linux without success.
This are the errors I get when I run dfbdump to check if everything is right:
-------------------------------------
root@debian:/home/hd62user/installers/directFB/DirectFB-1.2.10# dfbdump

I have to tell that I don't have any suitable /dev/fb0 device. My graphic card
seems not to support framebuffer. I installed Xvfb to avoid this, but I don't
know how to configure directFB so it doesn't look for /dev/fb0 anymore but for
the virtual framebuffer Xvfb, which I have installed.
Is it possible at all?
Can I just use system=x11, fbdev=???(Xvfb??) and busid=?? to tell directFB it
should use xvfb and not /dev/fb0?
How could I do that?
Is there any other variant more suitable to run directFB based applications
with emulated framebuffers?
Thanks in advance!
Adrian
