I'm having problems using a standard, Logitech game controller with DirectFB.
When I enumerate devices I get the following information:
Device id=16
type=0
name=Logitech Logitech Dual Action
max_axis=5
max_button=0
max_keycode=-1
So the device is recognised but it is listed with no buttons. Sure enough, when
I wrote a test program, the two joysticks created events but the buttons
didn't. Nor could I get any readings when I polled the buttons. No luck either
with the D-pad thing.
