Just FYI, responding to a thread that's several months old is a good way for a lot of folks to not see it. While the forum interface puts the most recent posts at the top, even if it's in an old thread, folks using the newsgroup or mailing list interfaces probably won't see it (and that includes most of the long time contributors). If the thread you want to post in is not recent, your post is much more likely to be seen if you create a new thread. - Jonathan M Davis
