Right now, 0.3.7.1 is the current state of the stable branch.
You can do one of:
cvs export -r rel-0-3-7-1 Freenet
cvs checkout -r stable Freenet
wget http://download.sourceforge.net/freenet/freenet-0.3.7.1.src.tar.gz
&&
tar zxvf freenet-0.3.7.1.src.tar.gz
...and get pretty much the same thing, plus or minus some ./CVS
directories.
