Well, to be honest I don't like the digest format. If you want to check
a complete thread on a subject you have to skip through all the
other messages. I've hacked a perl script that extracts all messages
from a Geocrawler mirror of a list. Currently it generates a file for
each message, with the file name == the posting date and an
unique number (20000801-012345 for example). These files
contain all header fields that are available through Geocrawler
(subject, from, date) plus the text, of course.

I plan to archive the tech and dev lists. Any other ideas?

Can sombeody check in the website changes when I'm done?
