Hey, Finally, here are some releases of DeviceKit-disks and gnome-disk-utility. For the latter I should probably find a gnome mailing list to use; for the time being I'm going to use this one.
Note that these releases are tagged as unstable because the all of the API can, and will, change. That said, most of the functionality is there and also pretty well-tested. The major pieces of the API are somewhat baked already. There's a bunch of details here and there, some small items and also a couple of big ticket items. Btw, there's also a volume monitor patch for GVfs that uses DeviceKit-disks and gnome-disk-utility, see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=573826 FWIW, we're going to ship all these bits in the upcoming Fedora 11 release; I'm sure there I'll need to do a couple of more releases to shake out some bugs I haven't noticed yet.
