Hi all,

Good question; there are a still a few details we need to discuss with the Qt
WS organizers (which is also us, so yeah the company is growing! :)).

The plan is that we can at the very least kick Qt CS off in the late
afternoon/evening of the 7th with a welcome event (inspired by the very
enjoyable get-together at KDE Akademy events). Ideally, many contributors will
also be able to join Qt WS, of course, in particular the closing keynote with
the roadmap (starting at 15:15).

We then have the entire 8th for CS discussions, and ideally don’t have to spend
quite as much time as last year on repeating things that were already presented
at the Qt WS. And to make the event a bit more “hands-on” and worth-while for
travellers, we also hope to be able to use the rooms in our Munich office on
the 9th for some hands-on workshops and hacking on the things that were
discussed. And if people want to stay even longer and keep hacking together in
our Munich office on the weekend, then I’m sure we will be able to accommodate.

Apologies for the somewhat fragmented communication; the ducks are not all
totally lined up, but we wanted to get the dates out so that many of you can at
least block your calendars, investigate travel options, and ask for budget from
employers if applicable. For those that do travel, arriving in Munich on the
7th by early afternoon, and leaving in the evening of the 9th, should be a safe
bet and hopefully make the trip worthwhile.
