That could work for most apps and certainly mine but some Javascript
webpages / QML games have continuous animations.
Qt developed a QtQuickCompiler which is great but the end result is
still not a 100% perfect and software engineering needs to be nothing
less than that otherwise you won't sell anything.

Not for the common mortal:
- True SmartTV just barely broke the ice in Europe but wait until it
will be ported to giant screens in Las Vegas and your website lags; it
will look unprofessional.
- Popular cell phones apps also do not use extensive animations. I
believe they intentionally avoid the problem by not using it.
