Hi, As you might be aware, we have been working on Gerrit upgrade and we now have some news.
Plan is to upgrade current 2.2.1 based version to 2.7 based. Our customized features, staging system for CI and one page review, are refactored for 2.7 but need few days to complete. We'd like to ask help for reviewing these changes and I'll get back to this later this week. Target date for production deployment is 7th March. Schedule is not frozen and it must be in sync with Qt5.3 release plan to keep that safe, not compromising the Qt release. Some background from development point of view shortly. Initial idea was to implement all the customization as Gerrit plugins. Unfortunately the plugin API doesn't offer access to core elements of the Gerrit. For example allowing to add new states for staging feature. So this approach failed and we decided to go old way for now, customizing newer Gerrit version with patches. Knowing that work would be quite challenging, we chose version 2.7 over 2.8 because 2.8 seemed to be more risky having new change screen and Buck build system.
