Yes. I do plan on making #error message include information on how you can get it back, but that there's no guarantee that Qt will compile due to other problems. For example, we all know that Qt 5.0 and 5.1 do not compile under MSVC 2013 due to their further C++11 standardisation (which includes C99 functions that weren't there before).
