We're aiming for a tech preview of Qt3D with Qt 5.2. We are not in a position to tie down any APIs at this time nor do we think we will be by the time of the freeze at the end of September. We have most of the architecture worked out now that will allow us to realise the goals we set for this module and are busy implementing it and fixing the flaws that we find.
