It's stable enough to be used as is, but there were some things in the architecture and API the team wasn't 100% happy yet. So feel free to use it :) But for now most work has stopped on that module (Nokia being the driving force behind it). Whether it will be picked up again depends on whether someone has the interest and commitment.
