I think we'll need to bite the bullet here because we failed to add a
QWindowsRegistry class to read the registry.

QtCore is mostly clean of QSettings and the cleanup should continue anyway.
That also applies to QtNetwork (I have no clue why it's used there) and QtGui.
Some of the uses that remain in QtGui must definitely be gone because they try
to use Trolltech.conf.

The rest are documentation that need to be cleaned up and removed.
