A lot of the work described in this ticket has now been completed with the creation of the rtems-lwip and rtems-net-services repositories hosted on git.rtems.org. One outstanding task is the migration of shared network libraries from the main RTEMS repo into rtems-net-services and movement of tests applicable to those libraries along with them. These existing tests are housed in the rtems-libbsd and rtems-lwip repositories. These libraries include at least telnet, ftp, and possibly the mongoose http server in the main RTEMS repo and could include some non-freebsd addons that have accumulated on libbsd over time.
