This is interesting. When I teach RTEMS classes, I always run this application and the last time, this BSP was the one used. It was a rare case of all Zynq users with no LEON users. :)
What version of RTEMS and how did you configure it? This sounds like it may need a ticket since it likely needs to be included on the 5 branch.pa I don't doubt it crashed.
