I just seek clarification whether you are proposing abandoning
doorstop, forking it, or replacing it with a custom Python tool.
It would be probably possible to refactor Doorstop so that it fits my
needs, however, I don't have the time for this. So, my approach is to
replace the remaining uses of Doorstop with custom Python stuff. For the
new build system you just need a text editor.
