This seems to be because the sparc/sis BSP is removed in the latest master (as of a month ago: de7b174).
For sparc you need to pick one of the other available BSPs, currently erc32 leon2 leon3 or ngmp. The examples in the getting started guide should probably be updated. -- Martin Erik Werner
