Hello Guys, I'm doing my master's thesis in mesh networks and I wanted to do some analysis of energy consumption on mobile devices using the Open802.11s. I have some initial questions about changing the Airtime Link metric.
Which part of the code is done the calculation? (net/mac80211/mesh_hwmp.c, line 324 -> i discovered the airtime_link_metric_get function in this line of code) If i change the "airtime_link_metric_get" for example, is necessary to compile some files again? If yes, how can I do? I apologize for the questions but I have not much experience with Linux environment and lack me to do some tests with a modification to the metric to complete the thesis.
