that is what I have done and it worked. But it seems like I shouldn't
have to do that, should I?
It would seem more natural to me to have the ACL mechanism be hooked at
the login level somehow. But as usual, I am quite sure I am missing
some details that makes the whole shebang not as simple as it looks ...
