(Please note that I do not recommend for my change to be
implemented in a proper Fedora release immediately, since it is 
a blunt removal, and will probably break a bunch of things)

  Hopefully by disabling it like this on a test build, you guys can
figure out precisely what breaks, so that a more detailed set of
steps can be figured out. :-)
