Hey folks. I am going to orphan hexchat soon here. I would strongly suggest we let it retire into the sunset...
zoitechat recently entered the fedora collection of packages and would suggest that anyone still using hexchat move to that. It's (almost) a drop in replacement, using gtk3 and alive upstream. https://github.com/ZoiteChat/zoitechat The current status of hexchat: * Is a gtk2 application * Currently doesn't build in rawhide due to openssl/tools changes (but there is a pr: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/hexchat/pull-request/5 ) * Upstream was archived in 2024, there is NO upstream.
