I've no idea what's going on here. I checked a random package containing a manpage with a dot in its name, i.e. e2fsprogs and rpmlint says: e2fsprogs.x86_64: W: no-manual-page-for-binary mkfs.ext4 when clearly it exists: $ rpm -qf /usr/share/man/man8/mkfs.ext4.8.gz e2fsprogs-1.47.3-2.fc43.x86_64 A bug in rpmlint, I'd say.
