That might be good enough perhaps, I feel, if there are no downsides.

I wonder if a Fedora Change would be overkill - maybe given the low
visibility. On the other hand (I am assuming it still works, but need to
test) it is a breaking change of behavior.
So giving any users a heads-up would be kinder than making them track it
down themselves. Such a Change might also benefit RHEL 11.
