MUMPS builds are tested on Fedora 42 against current metis release (5.1.1), and on Fedora 43+ against next updated metis-5.2.1 release already built on Copr.
All tests are performed by "example" and "*simpletest" drivers for testing compiled after all lib*mumps libraries; you can see how they are created inside the "MUMPS-5.8.2-build/MUMPS_5.8.2/examples" directory (check the build log please). Take note that i built only the sequential unversioned shared libraries of MUMPS (in order to modify basically Makefile.in), however, even the MPI MUMPS library's tests fail likewise. --- Antonio Trande Fedora Project, User:Sagitter Website: antoniotrande.blog mailto: [email protected] GPG key: 0x6ea362cc4c1aeac10b3a5c5402b0e70b4933065a GPG keys server: https://pgp.mit.edu/ giovedì 12 febbraio 2026 23:02, Cristian Le via devel <[email protected]> ha scritto: > > > On February 12, 2026 11:47:37 PM GMT+01:00, sagitter--- via devel > <[email protected]> wrote: > >Hi all. > > > >I'm really sorry, i need to resend this mail again. > > > >I need help with recent MUMPS-5.8.* releases (not in Fedora) that produces > >segmentation fault by running its example files. > >I created the RPMs > >(https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/sagitter/ForTesting/build/10125628/) > > including the files for testing. > > > >Debugging the previous release 5.8.1, Valgrind produces something like this > > On all Fedora releases/gcc compilers?
