Hey folks,

It's been a tight schedule getting Fedora 43 ready for release. GNOME
49 came out recently, and there are a lot of integration things we
want to test on the Fedora side.

Please visit
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2025-10-06_Fedora_43_GNOME_49_Desktop_and_Core_Apps
to find out how you can participate in the upcoming Fedora 43 GNOME 49
Test Week, running from Monday, October 6, to Friday, October 10.

Participating is easy: grab a Fedora 43 system (either a VM, a spare
laptop, or your own system if you’re feeling brave) and do some
exploratory testing of the desktop experience. You can then try some
of the test cases at https://testdays.fedoraproject.org/testday/7 and
share your results.

Click the column title links, such as "Initial Setup" or "Login
Screen," to learn more about how to reproduce each test case.

Test cases are simple everyday desktop tasks, such as changing the
wallpaper, creating a user account, playing audio, or pairing a
Bluetooth device. Please share your results on the Test Cases page.

If you find issues, there are reporting instructions on the Test Week Wiki page.

Cheers,
Felipe.
