Hey Charalampos and welcome to Fedora!

You can always check out https://whatcanidoforfedora.org for an overview of
the various areas that you can contribute to.

If you are interested in packaging you can read up here
<https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Joining_the_Package_Maintainers/>
and
here
<https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Packaging_Tutorial_1_banner/>
.

Checking the list of orphaned packages is fine, however unless you are
interested or willing to maintain a specific one that you could be using,
you might lose interest in the future. For the time being I'd suggest
checking out the list of in-review packages
<https://fedoraproject.org/PackageReviewStatus/in_progress.html> to see how
reviews happen and maybe move on with reviewing yourself some packages
<https://fedoraproject.org/PackageReviewStatus/reviewable.html> when you
feel confident enough.

Feel free to ask questions if you have any. Glad to have you aboard!
