I tried installing the Fedora 43 XFCE spin. I ran into two limitations:
1) I couldn't find a way to set up the partitions the way I wanted them. I
wanted ext4, but there doesn't appear to be an option to do that. It looks
like btrfs is the only choice.
2) When setting up the initial user, I couldn't find the "advanced settings"
that would let me fill in the uid/gid.
Are these options still available, or have they been removed from F43?
I was able to get the setup I needed by installing the server iso, and then
adding the XFCE desktop as a separate step, but I would expect the spins to
have the same setup features as the server version.
