Do you know if the new app-store system deprecates installing
add-ons/extensions system-wide by dropping them into the
%{_datadir}/blender/%{blender_api}/scripts/addons folder?
Fedora currently ships a couple of add-ons as rpms
(blender-luxcorerender and YafaRay-blender)
