right, the "check-compile" test is supposed to fail, thus it's fine.

I've been afraid you might "cancel" the whole build due to this, I
kinda expected it, because you also mentioned errors from the configure
time, but as you said it will not happen, the build can continue when a
function check fails, thus no problem so far.
