Not quite the same, but I run Silverblue and I often use a script* to unlock the ostree deployment and install dnf on it. Then I do all kinds of destructive shenanigans in my silverblue system and reboot back to a clean state. * https://gist.github.com/tpopela/b9a390a6a15a21b74b1ea3d4b3ee9557 This allows me to use dnf to install things that get wiped out on my next boot. In the past I have proposed we use something like this as a "developer mode", that would make it easier for hacking silverblue (the system) itself. > > -- > Jonathan Steffan > _______________________________________________ > devel mailing list -- [email protected] > To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] > Fedora Code of Conduct: > https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ > List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines > List Archives: > https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected] > Do not reply to spam, report it: > https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected] Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
