Maybe there's some kind of personal taste involved here. Perhaps instead of saying that something "is shitty" we could maybe opt for saying things like "Wow, I really don't like that" because that is instantly interpreted as opinion no matter what language you're a native of. I didn't realise how important wallpapers seem to be to people, given that it is not even hard work to change it. Not everyone will like everything but we can at least keep a nice tone.
