As it happens, I do.  There are 3 tests (out of many
thousands) in the git test suit which use jgit. They test
compatibility of the packfile format and ls-remote protocol.
They're nice to have, but if jgit is another casualty of
modularity, then it's easy to drop it.

It's a mild shame, since jgit was just fixed after a few
months of failing to even start.

I'll remove the jgit dep in rawhide shortly.  Thanks for the
