Can not you reuse existing freerdp and just produce 'freerdp2' package
for EPEL7?
Kind of:
# information why package change for epel7
%if ${rhel} && ${rhel} == 7
Package: freerdp2
%else
Package: freerdp
%endif
That way there is still one package to maintain and all Fedora changes
can go into EPEL7 in an easy way.
