No, because if you do that then "fedpkg clean" won't cleanup those
files
anymore...
fedpkg clean would cleanup the files, but you could not accidentally
add them to the repository
Are you sure? I always thought that was why clean didn't remove old
source archives, because they were in .gitignore...
