The upgrade went without error messages, but after upgrade, new mailboxes were created under mail/uuid/...

autocreateinbox: User XXX, INBOX was successfully created

of course, without any mail in it. I added

mailbox_legacy_dirs: yes
autocreate_quota: -1
autocreate_post: 0

and the autocreate of empty mailboxes stopped.

Now I get



It  looks like it migrated something but not the mails and mailbox dbs:

cyrus@mail:~$ /usr/lib/cyrus/bin/relocate_by_id -n -u XXX
XXX: user already relocated



Any quick help appreciated...

And in addition to that: Is is possible to revert the relocate_by_id?

cyrus/imaps[1366]: IOERROR: opening index failed: mailbox=<user.XXX> error=<System I/O error> syserror=<No such file or directory> func=<mailbox_open_advanced> So now I'm stuck, not knowing what to do beside of restoring from backup. But then, the Debian Upgrade is still pending. And finally I found that the mailboxes.db is only containing the autocreated mailboxes after upgrade. So I'm lost.

or have the paths changed?

has the debian package installer/upgrade moved your mailboxs.db and replayed it with an empty one,

Restored from Backup. Next step will be migration to Dovecot...
