Hi all,

So I downrev'd from 3.6.0 back to 3.4.4 (which is latest stable on Fedora 37).

It caused a bit of a cacastorm, though. Not sure if the downgrade caused it,
or my attempts to make it work that damaged things, but I'm seeing a bunch of
mailboxes like:

Ifa87a1d0-ddb1-4423-ab59-4f5e35b2ddf9 %(A %(philipp lrswipcda) I
ac7e09e7-005d-4695-8870-488906d2f3db P default V 1678826220 C 2192375 F 2192375

Picking one of those mailbox id's and digging down, I get:

[root@mail mail]# cyr_dbtool /var/lib/imap/mailboxes.db twoskip show | grep
556b43f3444ff569 | cat -v
$RUNQ$556b43f3444ff569$Nuser^_philipp^_Vendors^_Kingston

user.philipp.Vendors.Kingston %(A %(philipp lrswipcda) I 556b43f3444ff569 P
default M 1686468154)
[root@mail mail]#

And my MUA (Mail.app on MacOS) is showing me the various mailboxes (though not
in the right places, will fix that later) but also shows me mailboxes like
"I0a8f199f43017146" in the list of subscribed mailboxes.

Is there a way to make that go away?

I also see mailboxes called "Nuser", "NuserphilippApple Mail To Do", and
"NuserphilippBrocadeSent Items", and related to this I see in /var/log/maillog
lines like:

Jun 12 13:53:25 mail cyrus/imaps[14221]: IOERROR: opening index failed:
mailbox=<Nuser#037philipp#037Apple Mail To Do> error=<System I/O error>
syserror=<No such file or directory> func=<mailbox_open_advanced>
Jun 12 13:53:25 mail cyrus/imaps[14221]: IOERROR: opening index failed:
mailbox=<Nuser#037philipp#037Brocade#037Sent Items> error=<System I/O error>
syserror=<No such file or directory> func=<mailbox_open_advanced>

So, what's the cleanup? How can I fix the list of the users mailboxes (or, if
the Nuser* is expected, then the list of mailbox subscriptions) to what should
be visible?

Thanks,

-Philip

P.S. Shout out to Darius for answering logs of questions on #cyrus over the
weekend and getting me most of the way back to recovered...
