Chris Lambertus commented on WHIMSY-51:
---------------------------------------

I think all of that is TBD. There's still desire to work with Syncope on a
stronger IDM tool, and it seems to me that this would be part and parcel of an
interoperation plan between whatever Syncope becomes and the usage of the
roster/secretary tools for account creation/management. Id.a.o falls kind of in
a grey area. In terms of future work and policy direction, perhaps [~ke4qqq]
can weigh in. If the desire is to fix id.a.o then we should move this back to
INFRA. That goes for any of the tickets I've assigned to whimsy, too. I'm not
trying to create work for anyone, but I put a few tickets over here because
they seem to line up with what the whimsy PMC is trying to do with that
codebase.

> It looks like I can't delete a pgp finger-print from id.apache.org.
> The application shows me three key-entry-boxes ; 1 real, 1 fake, 1 empty. I
> want to the delete the 'fake'. If/when I empty the box with the fake-key, and
> submit, I get an error saying that the submitted keys are not 'pairwise
> distinct'. That is correct because two of them are empty.
> Methinks the test is wrong ; too strong. The submitted keys may be equal, if
> they are both empty.
> Thanks for the fix :-).
