But reviewing the following documentation link: http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-7.0-doc/config/host.html#Automatic%20Application%20Deployment Section "Automatic Application Deployment" explicitly states: "...The docBase attribute of this <Context> element must only be set if the docBase is outside the Host's appBase...."
