Thanks for the reply. As much as I'd love to continue to help the ASF & everyone else with this I will unfortunately be unable to test the potential fix on that environment. We appear to have a functioning workaround (NIO) and it must remain that way. The best I can offer is to try some simulations of the potential fix using the same application in another environment which will not match the same uptime or traffic levels - and may not trigger the condition at all.
