It works just fine for me. I tested:
- tar.gz binaries on Linux (64-bit, with a 32-bit Hotspot JVM)
- installer GUI and Windows service on Windows XP (32-bit, with a 32-bit
Hotspot JVM)

Here's what I tested on Linux:
- deployments via the manager
- ran several different webapps, both simple and complex
- HTTP and HTTPS BIO connectors
- JMX connector, context, and other metrics
- Stopping, starting, and reloading contexts

I tested more lightly on Windows, but the installer and the new procrun
binaries worked fine for me on the first try.

Overall, it seems noticeably faster, much cleaner code, and much nicer
features for webapp developers. I've also had users tell me that their
memory leak problems are almost gone now with the most recent Tomcat 6, but
when they try the same thing with the most recent Tomcat 7 the leaks are
100% gone. I think this makes Tomcat 7 the best choice.

I'm happy to vote stable on Tomcat 7. Congratulations, all around!

Cheers!
