Will do.

I think it's possible to tweak the XSLs and the static files to do the
first part, which ought to leave us with a nearly identical site
visually, but improved/simplified structure underneath.

I can't tell how much work it is to migrate the site over to a new
design until that's happened, but in principal it shouldn't be a problem
to retain the existing method.
