Who added google-site-verification to index.html?

The meta tag google-site-verification is included in our main 
index.html. It is not in the authoritative svn copy.

Is there a reason for that?
If yes, please do also add it to the authoritative site copy in svn 
(/tomcat/site/trunk), otherwise remove.
