null-pointer guard for User and make unmodifiable list modifiable
Since User#roles is unmodifiable, a UnsupportedOperationException will be
thrown in JNDIRealm#getRoles(DirContext, User). A second patch will create a
new ArrayList from User#roles to allow getRoles to modify it.
